Regression: Only One Way to Escape

You really can’t understand social realities if you don’t understand the concept of regression to the mean. The example given by Mr. Sims is that of Blacks, but the same concept applies to other races, too.

LET ME INTRODUCE YOU to a well-studied, well-documented biological phenomenon called ‘regression to the mean.’ The children of high-IQ parents belonging to a high-IQ race will have an average IQ higher than will children of equally high-IQ parents belonging to a low-IQ race.

It happens because the recessive genes in the parents are likely to be typical of their race, even if they have a fortunate set of dominant genes. Each of their children will have a random mix of genes from both parents, and thus they won’t be as exceptional as their parents were.

That’s why a Black mother and a Black father, both having IQs of 115 will have kids whose IQs are distributed about an average of 100. Whereas a white mother and a white father, both having IQs of 115, will have kids whose IQs are distributed about an average of 108.

It works the same way with every other inherited trait, including behavioral ones. Most Blacks are savages, prone to violence. Some aren’t, but those are exceptions in terms of self-restraint and circumspection.

So, even if you carefully pick an initial population — say, for an extended space voyage, or for populating a country or city — of very well-behaved Blacks, their children would likely be more typical of Blacks; i.e. more violent, more vulgar, more savage. The trend would continue as the generations go by.

While the first generation of Blacks might not have been a threat to you or your children, later generations of Blacks will be.

There is no way to avoid this, except by following Scott Adams’ advice of totally avoiding Blacks.
