‘Nineteen Eighty-Four’ — and 2017

by James Harting

IN Nineteen Eighty-Four, his famous novel about a dystopian future, George Orwell explains how a tyrannical government calling itself “Big Brother” keeps its citizens servile and docile. A key element in controlling the masses is the management of the information that they receive about the world. The cynically named “Ministry of Truth” is charged with presenting a distorted, self-serving view of the news to the masses. Big Brother bombards the people with a constant barrage of lies, half-lies and twisted-truths. Lacking an outside frame of reference, the people are duped into a state of perpetual slavery and endless war.

On the wall of the Ministry of Truth are emblazoned the following slogans:

War is Peace
Freedom is Slavery
Ignorance is Strength

To those reading the novel, the contradiction of these words is immediately apparent. But the inhabitants of Orwell’s world are brainwashed and indoctrinated to a point that prevents independent thought, so to them the slogans appear to be the most profound and exalted wisdom. The novel’s readers feel superior to Orwell’s hapless and helpless characters. Surely, they would not fall for such transparent lies…

There are none who are so blind as those who refuse to see. Today the population of the United States and other Western countries are themselves victimized by blatant falsehoods that keep them in mental bondage. Like Orwell’s characters, they are indoctrinated to accept as received wisdom concepts that are the exact opposite of objective reality, such as,

Diversity is Strength
All Men are Created Equal
The Jews are the Chosen People of God

Like the slogans of the Ministry of Truth, these are all transparent lies. However, unlike the characters in Nineteen Eighty-Four, White Americans and their (racial kinfolk across the world) still have access to information outside of the lying narrative being foisted on them.

The question is: “Will these Whites have the strength of character to break the mental stranglehold that menaces them — or are they doomed to servitude and eventual extinction?”

The men and women of the New Order have chosen the course of mental freedom, and with it freedom of action in resisting those who would lead us to our destruction as a race.

What choice will you make?

I read ‘Animal Farm.’ I am reading Jean Raspail, “The Camp of the Saints.” He had a vision, a dream in the early 70’s about the invasion of blacks, browns (Third World ppl) immigrating to the Western world. The book has been banned, because it is considered racist, and it slanders brown/black ppl as vile monsters. The book was published in 1973. These heathens are vile monsters, as our politicians, church leaders, judens promised them the Western world as the promised land.
