Are Jared Taylor and Ron Unz Compromised?

LET ME BEGIN by stating that Whites are surrounded by enemies, each of which sharpens its knives and ravenously licks its teeth in anticipation of our blood. Each of these enemies must be neutralized if we are to survive. That said, we cannot allow this to cloud our vision and distract us from the Enemy, the spawn of Satan that lies at the root of every single one of the afflictions that are eviscerating and annihilating our people: the Jew. Yes, the Jew is our enemy. Say it with me, now: Jews are our enemy. “Anti-Semitism” is necessarily the integral core of White nationalism. As one anonymous commenter recently remarked, “In general, if you are not an anti-Semite, there is something wrong with your moral compass, or you are ignorant of facts.” As with any other group, most people are impelled to state that, anecdotally, they are aware of a handful of “good” exceptions to the rule. (Certainly, I know a couple of Blacks who are not thugs. Does that mean that we can afford to have a single Black in our nation? Of course not. When crafting policy, generalization must be the rule.) With the Jew, however, I am not convinced that we can extend even this small courtesy.

The Myth of “the Good Jew”

Are there “good” Jews? In other words, are there Jews who support White nationalism? No. No. No. No, there are not.(1) Upon his publication of Liberty and Tyranny, which is still a good book for budding “conservatives” on their way to the Red Pill, I became a fan of Mark Levin. Eventually, his sickening Zionism drove me away, but he has evolved somewhat from his more bellicose neoconservatism, and does passionately address implicitly White interests from time to time. Regardless, Levin is first and foremost a Jew. His latest book, ostensibly an attack on Leftist journalism, devoted an absurdly disproportionate chunk to the New York Times’ not having sufficiently bleated about “the Holocaust” at the time it supposedly occurred. Levin is also a great ally of the Christian Zionist John Hagee, and gleefully employs Dinesh D’Souza’s jaundiced, civic nationalist, “Democrats are the real racists” argument.

We should all at last be disabused of this notion of “the good Jew” by Ron Unz’s latest piece at his Unz Review, the thesis of which is that, because Mexican and Central and South American immigrants have not featured extraordinarily prominently in the rampant Leftist violence consuming much of “America” this summer, their immigration is A-OK, no big deal, nothing to see here. Stated differently: Because Browns, according to Mr. Unz, are slightly less violent than Blacks, we should welcome their economic displacement and physical replacement of Whites. Finally, the mask has slipped, a watershed moment for the Unz Review, at one time not so long ago one of my favorite Web sites. Mr. Unz has revealed his inescapably Jewish identity.

Ron Unz has always presented an interesting case. As we all know, Mr. Unz is a Jew. Through his site and his own writings, however, he has done much to expose Jewish power, from the State of Israel being the likely culprit behind such attacks as 9/11 and the Kennedy Assassination(s), among dozens of other Mossad assassinations, to the hoax known as “the Holocaust,” to Jewish ritual murder and elite pedophilia, to the Jewish hand in the World Wars and the Soviet Union, and beyond. The Unz Review remains an excellent resource for White nationalists, and his “American Pravda” series for any form of American nationalist. But something is clearly rotten.

The site is extremely popular (“popular” relative not to the general population, but to other forums frequented by rightists), which, aside from feeding Mr. Unz’s Alaska-sized egoism, begs several questions. Why has Unz himself faced essentially zero repression from Jewish berserkers, as have large numbers of White nationalists when they say things far tamer than Mr. Unz has? Why is his site’s e-commerce and Patreon still up and running? Why do the SPLC and ADL not run hit pieces and professional reputational scorched-earth campaigns against him? Why does he not live in fear, as many other dissidents do? Why does money work for donors to the site? Why is he never mentioned as an anti-Semitic bugaboo alongside such favored targets of opprobrium, such as this site?

This brings us to the primary question: What motivates Ron Unz, aside from obvious narcissism? What was his purpose in exposing the many crimes of International Jewry and fostering an audience of White nationalists on his site, which he surely did intend to do? The Unz Review, like Charles Bausman’s Truth to Power, never claimed to be White nationalist. No, it is an aggregator of commentary from the Left and the Right. But Mr. Unz, for at least the last decade, has implicitly ingratiated himself into the White nationalist “movement” by presenting himself as anti-Jewish, and thus pro-White. His latest article reveals the charade. We are left with only one conclusion: that Mr. Unz is a gatekeeper, controlled opposition, a “steam valve,” an “expansion chamber,” lulling us into a false sense of complacency, of security in a First Amendment that has long since ceased to exist. By providing a forum for White nationalists to “expose” Jews, Unz allows us to believe that we are making progress, while in reality the Judeocracy gains more and more ground.

What does this mean? Well, most importantly, it means that the Unz Review is likely compromised, and probably always was. We should thus exercise great caution in commenting there. Any intelligent observer will have already noticed by now that rightist forums are honeycombed with Jews and Feds, often overlapping groups. At the risk of being over-paranoid, what better strategy is there than to isolate as many White nationalists and other sundry “anti-Semites” in one location by making it a haven of articles on the Jewish Question? Furthermore, while we are congratulating ourselves on our “progress,” on our “freedom” to “expose” Jewry, we are talking, rather than acting.

Jared Taylor and the Inherent Failure of “Race Realism”

I genuinely like Jared Taylor as a man. A gentleman and a scholar, Mr. Taylor has accomplished much for our cause. American Renaissance is indeed the world’s most popular White nationalist publication, though Mr. Taylor employs euphemisms like “White advocacy” and “race realism,” and refuses to capitalize White. His books, from the gateway Paved with Good Intentions to the more honest White Identity and If We Do Nothing, are excellent, and he is a gifted writer. Notwithstanding all of this, however, we must, must, must acknowledge that Mr. Taylor is, at the very least, a philo-Semite by omission.

With minuscule exceptions, Jared Taylor goes to great lengths to refrain from making any mention of the Jewish Question. (In this respect, Mr. Taylor is similar to Tucker Carlson, who cannot bring himself to utter the word “White.”) As far as I know, Mr. Taylor has not publicly lampooned or impugned the anti-Jewish component inherent in an honest, serious White nationalism, he does have a long history of censoring those who reference the Jewish Question on his Web site. One National Vanguard commenter wrote that “I met Taylor several years ago when I presented him with my copy of Which Way Western Man. He recoiled in such a manner as would a vampire facing the rising Sun.”

To date, the strongest words I have seen Mr. Taylor use towards our Jewish overlords were written in “the Ways of Our People,” an essay included in his If We Do Nothing collection:

Some people likewise insist that Jews are to blame for the poisoned state of mind common among whites. There is no doubt Jews have taken the lead in promoting the forces of dispossession and attacking the bases for traditional distinctions. However, they have found more than willing accomplices among non-Jews, and to blame Jews for white capitulation is a little like blaming whites for all the failures of blacks. Without a doubt, many who encourage whites in their suicidal proclivities are Jews, but those proclivities had to exist before they could be encouraged.

In his review of If We Do Nothing, Spencer Quinn does address Mr. Taylor’s glaringly noticeable reticence on this, the single greatest issue threatening our survival. Of the preceding passage, Mr. Quinn writes that Mr. Taylor’s argument “resembles the one my father used to use on me when I complained about bullies at school. ‘Be strong, be tough, and be willing to fight, and the bullies won’t mess with you.’” Stated differently, Mr. Quinn continues, “to blame only Jews for the straits Whites are in today is letting a lot of evil, self-hating Whites off the hook as well as millions of well-meaning, gullible ones.” Mr. Quinn adroitly responds that Mr. Taylor’s position “leaves half of the problem unaddressed: that there are people out there who take an active role in harming whites in the first place. Are we not allowed to notice or act upon this knowledge? If all the bullies in school were black, Hispanic, or Arab then we can, but not if they were all Jewish? Why? Because they look White to Jared Taylor? Is that really a good enough reason?”

By brazenly refusing to address the Jewish Question, Mr. Quinn notes, Mr. Taylor “reminds me of a boxer who fights not to lose rather than fights to win. There is a difference.” I totally concur. Where Mr. Quinn and I shall differ is in his acceptance of Mr. Taylor’s position — indeed, Mr. Quinn does not merely understand Mr. Taylor’s philo-Semitism by omission, but praises it, calling Mr. Taylor “the epitome of class” and contending that “adapting a counter-Semitic world view is a little like playing with fire. It can consume you if you are not careful.” First, this presumes that to combat Jewry somehow strips us of our “class,” that anti-Semites must live in dilapidated trailer parks and live in Outer Darkness. As Phillip Smith commented on the review, just about all of the anti-Semitic White nationalists that I know, myself included, only came to this position after years of painstaking research and deprogramming from our culture of Jewish filth. This is only possible for men of an intellectual bent, with an inquisitive, open mind.

Second, Mr. Quinn’s use of the term “counter-Semitic” seems to signify some issue with the term “anti-Semitic.” Allow me to repeat myself: Jews are the Enemy. Jews are our Enemy. If you are truly a White nationalist, if you truly care for the survival of our race, you must be anti-Semitic. I am an anti-Semite. Come on in, the water’s fine. Mr. Quinn concludes this topic by declaring that “someone has to hold the Judeo-neutral position in our movement. Someone has to provide that ballast. So why not Jared Taylor? It is only by comparing ourselves to such an absolute than we can measure how far into counter-Semitism we have come or need to go.” I could not disagree more. We have no room in our movement for those who are neutral to Jewish evil. We cannot destroy what we cannot name. We cannot defeat what we are not permitted to recognize.

Why does Jared Taylor believe, as he has said, that the term “White nationalism” is hopelessly compromised and discredited? Unite the Right was only a failure because we gave up and didn’t do it again. His “White advocacy” and “race realism” are doomed to fail, failure baked in their very cake. Mr. Taylor’s gentle, kind demeanor is a credit to the man, but not to the cause. Our enemies are out for blood, and will not stop until our broken, exsanguinated bodies are rent into dust and then scattered to the winds, with nothing left behind to attest to the fact that we ever existed. It’s time we lowered ourselves to their level. Are we fighting to win, or aren’t we? Not one person is swayed by his impressive statistical data, because facts don’t matter to the Enemy. Evolutionary scientism and IQ scoring do not get the blood pumping, serving only to mire us in intellectual arguments that are designed to fail. The time for debate is far gone.

How effective can any White nationalist be who speaks in euphemistic sophistry? American Renaissance shies away from direct discussion of any specifics about the ethnostate that is our guiding mission; even Gregory Hood, its most talented writer, only alludes to the ethnostate in the closing sentences of some of his essays. Who are they trying to placate? They are, at the very least, engaging in dishonesty by refusing to recognize that violence, while we do not relish it, will be necessary to secure the existence of our people and a future for White children. Now an edgier version of the venerable Chronicles, American Renaissance has in fact grown milder and milder as our future grows darker and darker. Do not get me wrong; Jared Taylor remains probably the best person to point young nationalists and refugees of Conservatism, Inc. on their path to the Red Pill, and American Renaissance serves as a nice gateway to the true right. But that is all that it can ever be.

If American Renaissance is merely a gateway, then Jared Taylor is its gatekeeper. Herein lies the rub. Think Tucker Carlson, another great introductory gateway to the right for those who choose to keep digging. Why is he on the air? To allow us to vent up to a delineated point. In one peculiar instance last week, Mr. Carlson interviewed the biographer of newly-converted leftist Matt Drudge, asking him if reports were true regarding Mr. Drudge’s recent friendship with Jared Kushner, the President’s Jewish handler. The very moment that Mr. Carlson uttered Kushner’s name, the feed cut to black. Technical difficulties.

Is Jared Taylor “controlled opposition”? Even VDare, a White-nationalist-lite publication that also refuses to call itself White nationalist, is more courageous these days than Mr. Taylor’s site. During the farcical impeachment of President Trump, Peter Brimelow, another good man of unimpeachable character, was brave enough to publish Kevin MacDonald’s brilliant discussion of the impeachment as a Jewish coup. And this from a site that prefers the term “Historic American Nation” to “Whites.”

Mr. Taylor certainly cuts a better figure than the agent provocateur or useful idiot Richard Spencer, but his program cannot truly be intended to save the White race. His philo-Semitism proves this sad fact.

To those who would state that Mr. Taylor’s refusal to entertain the Jewish Question is “strategic,” this simply does not pass muster. Jared Taylor is already roundly excoriated. It would cost him no further repression to point his finger at the Jew, yet he still does not. This is not the reason. As Andrew Hamilton commented at National Vanguard, “I wish Taylor was more forthright about his philo-Semitism,” pointing to John Derbyshire as an example. Mr. Derbyshire, of course, has spoken relatively openly of his philo-Semitism, and has mixed-race children with his Chinese wife. I will conclude by noting an unfathomably bizarre incident involving Mr. Taylor. For years, rumors circulated that his longtime partner, Evelyn Rich, the mother of his two daughters, was a Jewess. To finally put these to bed, Rich actually got the SPLC to post a letter from her directly to its Web site. Strange, no? Perhaps not.

(1) Admittedly, I am a great admirer of Paul Gottfried. His work in exposing the fraudulent nature of “American conservatism” has certainly been a boon to our cause, and will continue to be. Mr. Gottfried, however, does not place much stock in the explicitly racial nationalism that we must be sworn to practice. He, like Jared Taylor, focuses on White leftism and elides over the Jewish Question, failing to point out that his decriers are predominantly Jewish. In that sense, Mr. Gottfried is not a “good Jew” in terms of the White nationalist struggle.
