From John McCain — Exactly What You’d Expect

delmer_berg_2013by John I. Johnson

RECENTLY Delmer Berg (pictured), the last surviving member of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, died at the age of 100. He was eulogized in the controlled media and across the Internet. The Brigade was a group of violent Communists, mostly Jews, who fought in Spain to impose Communism on the Spanish people. Heroes of the Establishment then and now, Communists committed appalling atrocities in Spain, as they did everywhere else.

I assumed Berg was Jewish but have not found a source stating so. Besides being a totalitarian — he was a lifelong Communist — Berg was anti-White, and an official of the NAACP.

According to the Times obituary of Berg:

He joined the Communist Party USA in 1943, became a vice president of his local chapter of the N.A.A.C.P., organized farm workers and protested the war in Vietnam and nuclear weapons. “He was always attached to just causes,” a friend, Pat Cervelli, said in an interview. . . .

One of those “just causes” was Berg’s membership in the MAPA (Mexican American Political Association). Another was his unswerving lifelong devotion to Joseph Stalin. Even when fellow Marxists questioned Stalin by favoring Trotsky, Berg said, “I would kick their asses.”

The ALBA (Abraham Lincoln Brigade Archives), an organization in New York City founded by veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, is still prosperous enough to issue a $100,000 annual “Award for Human Rights Activism.”

In 2013, Berg described two of his life’s proudest moments: “When I was elected vice president of the local N.A.A.C.P. and when one of my grandsons was valedictorian at his Oregon high school graduation and said in a newspaper interview, ‘My grandfather is my inspiration. He’s a Communist!’”

To the Times writer, Sam Roberts, the true significance of Berg’s devotion to Communism for his entire adult life is that “Unlike a number of other starry-eyed recruits to the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, Mr. Berg never outgrew his devotion to underdogs.” Stalin is a strange kind of underdog, but then again this is the New York Times.

Republican “conservative” philo-Semite John McCain has just written a glowing tribute to the Communist Berg, his ostensible nobility and high “ideals,” for the New York Times.

This for the proponent of a belief system and movement that slaughtered tens of millions of Europeans and Asians, locked millions more into concentration camps and prisons, and routinely committed atrocities, assassinations, and torture for the goal of enslaving mankind and creating a “New Communist Man” within a New World Order.

This jerk is a U.S. Senator and was the Republican Party’s standard bearer in a run for the presidency, losing to an anti-White Kenyan.

The last of the Communist vermin from the Abraham Lincoln brigade has expired. This is a very good day indeed.

Exactly what we would expect, indeed. They did not refer to McCain as the Manchurian Candidate for no reason.
