and an all-White population.
However, land prices up there
are in the stratosphere. I
couldn’t find anything under
$15K.

Yes, land prices around here are going up slightly as more Whites flee the cities for a Whiter, more beneficial environment, but no more than in other rural areas with mostly White populations. You’ve been to my home. I purchased it and nearly 2 acres for $14,500 26 years ago. I enlarged it, made improvements and added six more contiguous acres with a cabin on it a few years later for another $25,000.Don’t tell me there’s nothing here under $150K. With the equity you have in your home, you can find a place around here and get the hell out that SC barrio. That place is not good for your health. Woops! I misread Walt’s $15K. There aren’t many folks looking for properties in that range — the, um, er, uh, “stratosphere” — anywhere, except in another barrio.
I’m sitting on a 1/2 acre plot right now.
That plenty big enough for a small cottage
or manufactured home. If you can point
me into a direction of anyone up there
willing to negotiate a plot of land that size
and if the price is not in the ‘stratosphere,’
I will come up there and close the deal.
Just the land in my full possession – I’ll
worry about accommodations later. Once
you actually have the land, you’re already
halfway there.
Walt, check the filter on that site. There’s 71 different listings under $49,999. Some of them are even around that 15k stratospheric price.
