UK: Mass Rape of White Girls Continues; Non-White Police Officer Arrested
A SOUTH ASIAN police officer who was hired to promote diversity in the UK police force is among the sixteen men who’ve been charged with a variety of sexual and trafficking offenses carried out against teenage girls in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
The sixteen South Asian suspects have been charged with crimes like human trafficking, rape, and conspiracy to prevent the course of justice. Among those who’ve been charged with committing sex offenses against children aged between 13 and 16 is 35-year-old Amjad Ditta, also known as Amjad Hussain, The Daily Mail reports.
West Yorkshire Police have confirmed that Ditta was, in fact, a police officer who was serving as a “police officer at the time of his alleged offense in 2009”.
In 2016, Ditta was appointed as a Positive Action Coordinator, responsible for “boosting numbers of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) people applying for to join the force” after the prime minister at the time, Theresa May, declared UK’s police force not diverse enough. Before his suspension, Ditta was an Authorized Firearms Officer (AFO) and a part of the UK police’s prestigious Protective Services (Operations) command.
Other individuals who were arrested in the grooming gang scandal include Vaqaas Abbas, Nadeem Adalat, Sajid Adalat, Vaseem Adalat, Amjad Ditta, Christopher Eastwood, Metab Islam, Mohammed Rizwan Iqbal, Ishtiaq Latif, Asad Mahmood, Arfan Mir, Younis Mohammed aka Younis Khan, Nadeem Nassir, Shahzad Nawaz, Shazad Nazir, and Sohail Zafar.
