Israeli Baby-Killing Attack on Syrian Civilians Condemned by Russia, International Human Rights Committee

THE GOVERNMENT of Russia, the International Human Rights Committee, and the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem have joined in the condemnation of the latest Israeli missile bombardment of civilians in Damascus that killed four people — including a baby — in an attack clearly designed to hamper ongoing Syrian operations against the last remaining Jihadist “rebels” in that country.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said yesterday that “Israeli aggression on the Syrian territories violates Syria’s sovereignty and poses [a] threat to regional stability.”

The International Human Rights Committee said that Israel “has again committed a flagrant violation of the international law through its latest aggression.” In a statement on Tuesday, the Committee said that these acts of aggression “are condemned in all standards and they don’t come up with anything except targeting innocent civilians.”

The statement noted that the repeated acts of aggression by the US and Israel against Syria do not serve the “humanitarian international keenness on protecting civilians during wars,” but the “contrary through their sinister insistence on inflicting harm on the Syrian people who are suffering from tragedies daily due to the policies which are based on targeting their homeland.”

Theodosios (Hanna) of Sebastia, the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, joined the condemnation of the latest Israeli attack, saying that the “repeated Israeli acts of aggression come due to the failure of the global conspiracy hatched against Syria.”

Archbishop Hanna, in a statement that “the Zionist barbaric aggression against Syria is an aggression against Palestine and all the Arab nations, noting that those who conspire against Palestine and its capital Jerusalem are the same ones who are conspiring against Syria which started to recover after the victories it has achieved over its enemies.”

The head of the Czech Parliamentary Group for Friendship with Syria, Stanislav Grospic, also condemned the latest Israeli aggression against Syria, affirming that was a clear violation of the international law.

“The main goal of such acts of aggression is to intimidate the civilians and to hinder the efforts exerted by the Syrian Army to achieve a comprehensive victory over terrorism in Syria,” Grospic said, adding that the targeting and killing the civilians and children by Israel “represents a crime against humanity and a continuation of the criminal acts it practices in the region.”

The Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a separate statement that “Israel’s heinous aggression on Syrian territories last night comes in the framework of Israeli continued attempts to prolong span of the crisis in Syria and the terrorist war against the country.

“Israeli occupation forces at 12.35 a.m. Monday attacked once again Syrian territories in a flagrant violation of Security council resolution No. 350 of 1974 related to the disengagement of forces agreement between the two sides through launching successive waves of missiles from over the Lebanese airspace, targeting regions in Damascus, Damascus countryside and Homs that claimed the lives of 4 martyrs, among them a baby and injuring 21 citizens, the majority of them were women and children and causing material damage to the houses of citizens,” said the Ministry in two letters addressed to Secretary General of the UN and the Security council.

The Ministry added that all the Israeli aggressions have failed to intimidate the Syrian people, but they increased their determination to adhere to the inevitability of victory over terrorism and the restoration of the occupied Syrian Golan.

“Syria underlines that Israel continuation in its dangerous hostile method would have never be done except by the unlimited support offered by the US administration in particular and the immunity from punishment presented by it and known countries at the Security council, the Ministry said.

It called on Security Council to assume its responsibilities, in the framework of UN convention, and take immediate and decisive procedures to prevent “Israel” from repeating its aggressions.

“Israel should be forced to respect UN resolutions regarding the disengagement of forces agreement and bringing it to justice for its crimes against the Syrian and Palestinian people in violation of UN relevant resolutions No. 242, 338, 350 and 497,” the Ministry concluded.

The latest attack was not completely successful, as the air defenses of the Syrian Arab Army managed to intercept a number of the missiles fired by the Israeli warplanes from Lebanese airspace.

Over the past years, Israel “has intervened many times to support its collapsing terrorist tools as tens of field and intelligence reports affirm the strong link between these terrorist organizations and the Israeli enemy and their exposed coordination,” the Syrian Arab News Agency added.

The attacks come as the Syrian army pushes into the last so-called “rebel” base in the Idlib Governorate, which is home to the Jihadist groups supported by the West and Israel.

The Anna News Agency has released an in-depth video showing the battle that led to the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) entry into the Idlib Governorate. In the video, the Syrian Army’s Tiger Forces can be seen advancing through the Jihadist defenses and seizing their first town along the southwestern axis of the Al-Zawiya Mountains of southwestern Idlib.

The Syrian Army’s entry into southwestern Idlib in early June marks the first time since 2014 that they have maintained ground inside this governorate.

Meanwhile in Israel, a “second Holocaust” has been announced by Israel’s “minister of education”: https://nypost.com/2019/07/09/israeli-leader-compares-jewish-intermarriage-in-us-to-a-second-holocaust/ . Doesn’t anyone in the West have the courage to say that intermarriage with jews is a holocaust for the goyim wed, or is it that when the same number of non-jews as jews lose their bloodline, it’s ok to everyone?
