Jews Gloat as French Author is Imprisoned for Saying They are an “Incestuous People” on YouTube
ON FRIDAY, a far-right activist, Hervé Lalin, called Ryssen, was sentenced to one year in prison for anti-Semitic messages in a video published on the YouTube platform. He received the maximum possible sentence.
In this 36-minute video, made available online on 10 July 2017 and titled “The Jews, incest and hysteria”, “an off-screen voice sets out the reasons for believing that the Jewish people is an incestuous people,” according to the judgement of the court.
Already Convicted Several Times
Hervé Lalin was found guilty of public incitement to hatred due to origins and of defamation. This far-right activist has already been convicted numerous times. In October, he received a sentence of six months’ imprisonment for anti-Semitic and racist messages on Twitter and Facebook.
“The previous sentences have clearly not been such as to dissuade the commission of new offences,” noted the court.
In addition, Hervé Lalin must pay 2,000 euros in damages and interest to the association “Bureau national de vigilance contre l’antisémitisme” [National office for vigilance against anti-Semitism], which had referred the YouTube video to the attention of the prosecutor, as well as 1,000 euros to the associations “Avocats sans frontières” [Lawyers without borders], “France-Israël” and the “Ligue internationale contre le racisme et l’antisémitisme” (Licra) [League against racism and antisemitism].
Ryssen is a prominent counter-Semitic activist in France. He creates videos and has authored many books. For years he has been subjected to legal harassment by Jewish organisations.

12 months + 17 (to be confirmed on 4 July) + 11 months (little red book) = 40 months of prison time, without counting the three other cases that are underway. They will have me taken out of my cell to drag me in front of the judges again, over and over. But that’s not what’s important.
