TODAY LET’S TALK about “racism” and related matters. There’s hardly a subject the average White person is more uptight about, hardly a subject that makes him more uncomfortable. Fifty or 60 years ago people were really uptight about sex. Very few people could talk about it honestly and openly and comfortably. It embarrassed them. Whenever the subject came up people used all sorts of euphemisms and evasions to avoid having to mention things or use words that made them squirm and blush, things that they just . . . → Read More: What Is Racism?

THE MOTTO of Israel’s spy agency, Mossad, is, according to recently defected Mossad agent Victor Ostrovsky: “By way of deception thou shalt do war.” That motto describes more than the modus operandi of the world’s most ruthless and feared organization of professional assassins and espionage agents; it really describes the modus vivendi of an entire race. It is necessary to understand that fact before one can hope to understand fully the role of the Jews in national and world affairs.
The concept of a race eternally at war with the rest of the world is alien to us. It is difficult . . . → Read More: By Way of Deception Thou Shalt Do War

ALL RACIAL DIFFERENCES are either genetic (hereditary, inborn) or cultural (acquired from society after birth). The latter can be changed or eliminated by enforced social changes; the former are independent of man’s laws and customs, except over a period of many generations.
Examples of cultural traits which differ from race to race are mannerisms of speech (“Amos ‘n’ Andy” dialect or “Black English”), styles of dress, and personal grooming. If Blacks and Whites are forced to live together from birth, attending the same schools and exposed to exactly the same cultural influences, they will grow up speaking and dressing in very nearly the same manner. EDITOR’S NOTE: ’Cosmotheism’ is the name given by the late Dr. William Pierce to his philosophy of life — his religion, if you will — which embodied for him the fundamental truths about the nature of the Universe and our purpose in it. By the standards of a more childish and innocent time, Dr. Pierce might be adjudged an atheist, and by those who call themselves ‘atheists’ today — the narrow egoists of the Rand cult and its derivatives, and the sentimental Christians-without-Christ who constitute the ‘Secular Humanist’ and Marxian reformations of the gospel — he could not even be understood, so limited is their vision.

EDITOR’S NOTE: On Living Things is the second essay, in a series of three, in which Dr. Pierce expresses the fundamentals of his philosophy, on which all of his political work was ultimately based. If you have not already done so, you should read The Path before reading On Living Things.
In prior articles in the series ‘Intimations of Cosmotheism’ on National Vanguard, I have shown that other writers and thinkers, including Charles Lindbergh and Sir Oswald Mosley, have expressed ideas parallel to those which Dr. Pierce brought to their fullest expression. The third essay, On Society, will also be presented on National Vanguard.
